I received my B.A. in History and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin in 2006 and my M.A. in Public History from the University of South Carolina in 2009. I took a permanent position at Fort Sumter National Monument in 2009. Broadly, my research interests include nineteenth-century southern history and African-American history. Always a few steps behind in technology, but I don't think my vinyl/wax record collection should be counted as evidence.
