I am an archivist with a background in history (MA in American history) and museum management (Certificate of Graduate Study in Museum Management). I manage instruction and reference as well as outreach services at a large political archives center at the University of Georgia. I also direct a center for civic engagement based at my archives. My research interests include the place of material culture in archival collections and services, and strategies for building synergies across cultural resource organizations such as archives, museums, and libraries to make the past more vibrant and interesting to the present.
